The New Marlborough Village Association
was organized in 1976 with three primary goals:

1. To undertake the restoration of the Meeting House, a splendid Greek revival structure designed by the noted architect Henry Sykes and built in 1839, and maintenance of the village green.

2. To foster interest in and appreciation of the natural beauty, historical traditions and
architectural heritage of New Marlborough, which will celebrate the 250th anniversary of incorporation in 2009.

3. To sponsor and otherwise promote public programming intended to enhance the artistic, cultural and civic life of our community and the surrounding south Berkshire county area.

Now more than thirty years later the Association seeks to expand use of the Meeting House as a cultural and community center.  Modest renovations are currently being undertaken to permit an extended and more varied schedule of events sponsored by the Association directly or as host for other organizations from the immediate tri-state area.  Do check the calendar on this web site for information about future programs, including our signature series Music & More, shows in the Meeting House Gallery, and the Winter House Concerts.

With no full time staff we are almost entirely dependent on volunteers to accomplish our mission.  Please consider joining the Village Association and lend a hand both literally and financially. The Association is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit, contributions to which are tax deductible.  Further information about our activities may be obtained by directing inquiries to the telephone number or e-mail address below.
